Great gameplay, easy download. Highly recommend it to anyone who loves the series! This game is so nostalgic! I give it two thumbs up. I can remember playing this game for the first time in grade school. I get the same excitement playing it as an adult. Endless fun and excitement. Never can get it past Fort Kearney, but it was nice to see the game I remember being addicted to years ago.
Hunt often. Worth the money just to see it again and load the wagons and head on out. This is a great game and the journey is never the same! There is a lot to learn and explore. I would highly recommend this game to anyone of any age. I love this game and used to play it all the time but lost it and I was really excited when I saw you guys had it.
I remember playing this game as a child and I loved it. I played it again and it's just as entertaining as an adult. Cool game, love it. I used to play it in my childhood. It will attract people who love travel and history -- perfect time pass. Loved it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of us made it first time but Jed and Sara died. I was good with it though. They were a scroggin' together within a month we set out.
Jed was my friend and Sara my wife. Simply does not work on Windows Windows gives the error message that this game can't run, I've even tried in compatibility mode but to no avail. Guess it would have to be run in an emulator or something.

For a rather early game, Oregon Trail has a lot going on. You will need to look after each member of your wagon and make sure that they are healthy.
This includes feeding and healing them. On your journey, you come across other people and places. In these places, you can buy and trade rations, food, wagon parts and so on. There is way more strategy in the game and it starts right from the beginning when you pick what month you want to start your journey in. The most fun part for most kids back in the day was the hunting. Each segment of the game lets you hunt once. When you hunt you need to shoot different animals, the Dulexe version of Oregon Trail only lets you get pounds worth of animal!
Each of us were so enthralled by the game, it was the only time that an instructor didn't have to tell us to be quiet. Kids today Millenials will never understand how fun and educational The Oregon Trail was for our generation. Only Xennials can comprehend how Awesome this game is, was and always will be!
We grew up during a time when life was simple, and technology had not overstepped it's boundaries by consuming the entire world, and turning everyone into illiterate zombies that can't function without an Iphone in their hand.
